Through our many coaching engagements, we’ve discovered over and over again the impact caused by teams not working well together on the bottom-line for an organization’s performance. Technology, Business and Operational teams have all learned to work in their own functional areas, to focus on internal processes and hand off work to the other teams. This causes no end-to-end visibility of the value stream (bottom-line business deliverable) and no connection or even realization of the actual customer.

Many teams become task-oriented, prioritizing their own work with no understanding of the final output and who it impacts. These processes, hand-offs, lack of communication and trust have enormous cost to efficiency and effectiveness of your organization.

The goal of this course is to introduce you to the concepts behind Cross-Functional Service teams that deliver business value in addition to Communities of Practice (CoPs) that focus on creating excellence, standards and best practices for their community.
